Jireh did GREAT at the dog beach. I was nervous taking her by myself, not knowing if I could handle her. (BTW - Jireh went to the vet yesterday... doing wonderful, thank God! Was surprised to learn she weighs 72 pounds! The vet said weight gained up until 2 years old is muscle. Jireh will be 2 in October, so she is perfect.)

Nothing makes my morning better than opening my eyes to Jireh sleeping on the pillow beside me. I LOVE it. I pet her head, said, "Good morning, Ji!" and she groggily yawned...then started wagging her tail. Now THAT makes me happy!

Addy the Cat

Jireh has really matured and is almost out of that 'puppy stage". She is doing great with her training. When I fall, she runs to me and "braces" herself so I can use her back to pull myself back up. She truly is an Assistance Dog both for my physical and mental disabilities. She will be 2 in October so at that point, she should be 'calm' enough for me to take her in public. One of my dreams is to see her in an airplane seat as I fly on my book tour. She is the BEST dog. I love my cat very much... Addy will sleep with me, get up and eat, and go back to bed. But Jireh makes me get out of bed and be active. Jireh makes me get out and enjoy life. Animals are amazing!
